Removing the lead wires from distributor cap on 2N tractor

In the service manual for 9N and 2N tractors it says to pull the spark plug lead wires away from to the distributor cap. Do they just pull away with a firm tug? Is there something I need to be aware of when removing the wires other than the order? Thanks. Stuart

Plug wires just sort of snap in place and so they also pull out wit ha bit of a pull to get them out. If they have been in for years the pull can be a bit on the hard side
