'41 9N - Need to replace carb drain plug on the bottom of the carb. Head was rounded when I got tractor many years ago and now plug is lost. Part # 358043S from my parts catalog. (1/8" Pipe Hex Head Plug) What specs would work to find a replacement in a general hardware store??

Tractorguy is right on the money.
I like to use a brass one with a hollow center.
It will give some and is easier to get out if it gets stuck.
But I have used solid red brass and galvanized plugs too.
They're all less than $1 at the local hardware store.

A radiator drain plug will also work and then you have a easy way to drain the carb when trouble shooting. My 1935 JD-B has one of those on it and has for decades
