Are these numbers significant?

While admiring my newly machined head, thinking about going to T/S and buying red paint and wishing my other parts were in, so I can put it back
together, I noticed some numbers on the top of it. The first set is above the second set, I was wondering if they are significant in helping to
identify the year model, or are they just manufactures code?

First set: C45
Second set: 8N8050A

You sure that is not 8N6050A ?? That is the part number for the head....

I believe C45 would = March 1945

Yeah it could be a six I debated over that before I decided it was an 8, you can tell that it was hammer stamped in because of the marks around the
numbers.
