Compression for 9n

I read on a site that the minimum compression for a 9n is 90lbs. I have between 105 and 115 on all 4 cylinders. Can anyone tell me what the ideal compression should be or what it is supposed to be?
thank you
mike

thanks for the response, yes i am bringing this thing back from the dead. i have replaced a lot of parts and having a heck of a time getting it to start. I'm thinking now that i have a timing issue in that i can't get it advanced enough. when it does run it almost sounds like it is firing on partially open exhaust valves. it has a front mount dist. and i'm sure you know it is a pretty crude way to get the timing set correctly.

It's really easy to get the firing order wrong. Check it to make sure you have it firing 1-2-4-3. Every front mount distributor cap I've seen has the numbers cast into the plastic near the wire terminals. The cylinders are numbers 1-2-3-4 from front to back (nothing strange there, at least).

thanks for that tip. i made and mistake once too and was sure i had the firing order correct but i had # 3 and 4 crossed.

U need the compression issue fixed before messing with timing and such..I'd bet timing
isn't your problem.

thanks for all the great info. what is TOH? yea, the guy with the 40-45 compression probably has internal issues but mine with over 100 lbs i'm thinking is a timing problem.
i'll be back with gov. issues when i get my timing straightened out.
thanks again

(quoted from post at 19:04:20 04/24/15) TOH makes a jig that allows you to set timing at the bench

howdy 1960, last week you told me that TOH has a jig for setting timing. what is TOH?
thanks

105 to 115 would be ideal..

Compression is notcher problem... A average of 110 and you are chit'N in high cotton...

I know what the min speck of 90 means do you are anyone else know...
