I pulled the new Kubota down by the barn and put one of the valve stems on a rear tire at 12:00 high, removed the valve stem and water started squirting out. Looks like the rears are already filled! I checked the other tire and it was loaded too. I think it's just with water because there is not color to it and no smell. We just about don't need anything else down here in Central Alabama. I'll add some RV antifreeze this fall just to be sure. They were slightly over filled, so I let the water spray out until it got down to air, at the valve like ya'll said to do. Lowered the air pressure too. One tire had 45 lbs and the other had about 40 lbs...way too much. I lowered the air to 15 lbs. Since I already went and purchased the tool for adding water...I think I will load the rears on the 8N when I get this durn oil pump problem solved.
One other thing I did was to put the quick hitch that I purchased several years ago on the Kubota. It works great now. The Kubota has turn buckles to steady the lift arms and it is fantastic like that. The old N's just have the sway bars and is not nearly as tight at the arms so it would wiggle around too much to keep it rock stead for a hook up to implements...at least for me as I can't back up worth a durn anyway...lol
