The key switch on my 1948 8N 6V has three positions, far left, middle (off), and far right (run). I have no idea what the far left position is for. [b:f03c15cf2c]Possible this is not original equipment?[/b:f03c15cf2c]
Thinking so, I ordered a new 8N switch from this site. Now, here is where the rant comes in. $7.63 for the switch, which probably weighs less than a pound. [b:f03c15cf2c]And $11.00 for parts shipping![/b:f03c15cf2c] Total cost $18.63, for a 7$ + change part that weights less than my left shoe. Shipping charges are ridicules!
YT could easily know, or should know, what actual shipping cost are on each item and charge accordingly. If their is, or should be, a handling fee, it should be identified as a handling fee! End of rant. Sorry guys, its just MHO.
