From a earlier post I got the crank pulley off.
Further I get torn down, the more unhappy I become.
Pulley twisted on crank.
Crank is .010 M, .020 R

3rd pic appears to be 1/2 of what was once an oil slinger.
Any one have a spare they are willing to sell?

10/20 used is not bad for an N . If you get it turned 20/30 it will probably last as long as you need it .

There are probably a few guys here with parts . Ebay is good if you have time to wait . Some of the guys on ebay that part out tractors will sell you all of the parts you want in a special buy it now listing . They may not have those small parts listed in an auction so you will have to ask if they have them .

All of my N's have a flat oil slinger . I see the tapered slingers on Fords OHV V8's . Did they come with both styles ???

Headed to machine shop in a few minutes. $175, 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to get done.
I believe mains will clean up at 20 and hoping rods at 30 but can get bearings to 040.
I know I'm getting older as I remember $100 - 125 to turn crank LOL

Was once told "Figure your budget and double it, then hope you have enough". I'm headed there fast ~cry~

Now you see why I don't like'em... That slotted screw is the issue you can not nail it down like you can with a bolt...

I would not turn the crank till I test fitted a new pulley on it... It wore the snout out on mine it could have been used but I had another crank...

You need

Pulley #192152 (uses a Hex bolt)
Bolt 5/8X18X1"

Pulley part number is 192162 - that number is firmly burned into my brain ;-)

TOH[/q Are you sure that's it? The number you gave me was 192160. :)

Did you get the check valve for my kit yet?

Thanks for all the replies :)

The pulley didn't spin around shaft but merely moved a few degrees.
Pulley was not sloppy on shaft, it was snug.
I plan on replacing the screw with a bolt even if I need to trim the head down for clearance and modify a socket to fit correctly.
Yea, more HF impact sockets LOL
The screw wasn't tight but it also wasn't loose. Maybe 15-20 ft/lbs.

My thoughts are it was caused by (in my words) 'dead heading' the hydraulics.

The pulley is 192160. My fingers typed Hobo's number with the 6 instead of the 5 - my brain is turning to mush.

My parts got backordered but shipped yesterday and I should have them around noon today. Watch your email for the invoice.
