Well it says it is part of a live auction put on by some government entity in California. I am of the opinion that there is no government entity in California that has any idea of what hand it is diddling itself with.

I believe you would have to register at their site to see actual bids. I am not willing to do that.

Auction goes off at 8pm today. Shipping from Ca would kill a deal but it's marked NR. I take it no reserve. So far no starting bid. So throw the starting bid of a dollar and add the buyer premium of about 20 cents and you could have a good 8N buy for a buck 20.

If I remember right the last time it "sold" it was for what 3300. I suppose tack on 20% buyer premium. I don't believe the seller is actually the government. And I would certainly never purchase after reading their feedback. It makes me wonder if they're running a scam. Or if the first buyer backed out.

Unless you're within a few hundred miles of it (as I am) and have your own trailer to haul it (as I do) - the SHIPPING COSTS are going to kill the deal.

PS: I'M NOT INTERESTED!

Is it like the tip jar at the local watering hole where the bartender starts it off by putting a few $$$ bills in it at the beginning of the nite. 8)
