Got all The Valve Guide Seals In my Ford 8n Today. Was a Hell Of A job. put Them In Intake & Exhaust. ground The Valves & set The Tolerance on Valves. Tough job. Took Most of Day. Might Be An Easier way ,So Let Me know?

I may as well go ahead and tell u that someone is going to come along and say u wasted ur time putting seals on the exhaust guides...Mine had em on all valves when I took it apart so I put them back on all of em like u did..can't hurt anything.and the ones I replaced were not melted or cracked......anyway now that is out of the way...sounds like u had a busy day...How'd you grind them? U do em yourself?

I ground Them myself. I have an Old black & decker grinder. It has the shaft that Goes Thru The Guide hole & down thru the Tappet Adjusting Hole. Made It easy grinding The Valve seats. Thanks

Thanks for the info-wish I had one of those gizmos. Might never use it but good to have..if you need it..

Got a photo? I'm curious as to how it compares to the old Sioux I have.
