I am looking at a naa ford that has a lever on the left side of the tractor right next to the pto lever, Does anyone know what this is used for? The tractor dosent run so I cant try it out to see what it does. Also there is a valve on top of the rearend under the seat. It has a knob on it that pulls to the front of thetractor or push it straight back to the rear, any thoughts as to what the function is? Thanks for any input.

Pictures would eliminate the guesswork but:[list:899646b94c][*:899646b94c]Lever by PTO - live PTO option[*:899646b94c]Knob under seat - Selectrol valve for diverting pump output to an external hydraulic cylinder[/list:u:899646b94c]Both somewhat rare and sought after options....

Sam,

You can see an explanation of Live PTO and the Selectrol valve in this 1953 Dearborn promotional video:

Pull the thumb in the video progress bar over to 18 minutes in.

Does it look anything like this ? If so it is a hydraulic valve for attachments.
