Let the fun begin

OK, it's begun.
To pull the engine so I can find out what went wrong this winter I had to start with removing rear fenders.
Yet another joy of a jungle gym loader. NOT!
Got half the loader off so far as well. Loosened 2 of the carriage bolts on rear mount, but the other 2 are not gonna be fun. 1 of them spins and other 1 is a different size nut. Have to see about new fine thread carriage bolts.
I think the coffee cup is fitting for this project :)

And no April fools joke, that's the snow still around my part of NY. Pics were taken a couple hours ago.

I have removed 2 of them both times lifted them off with a chain fall the first one I made a tripod out of 5" hemlock logs about 12' long the second one a beam on my tractor shed, but I left them together just lifted the back up and let the front down and backed out from under it. The lifting loop works great for that.

Engine not in running order and don't have enough plywood to keep cherry picker from sinking in mud.

Don't waste your time on those rusty bolts you will waste HOURS!! Take your recip saw or flame wrench and blow them off. new ones are cheap!

First things first!

1.) Go refill coffee cup.
2.) Go warm self by fire while drinking coffee; remember, gotta keep that cup full.
3.) Wait for ALL of that snow to melt.
4.) When it's a nice, warm, balmy 85 degrees outside . . . . THEN you can go outside and play with your tractor.

LOL!
