my 8n is leaking transmision fluid out the 3 point hitch bolt that comes out of the housing , if your sitting on tractor its on the left side, how do i tighten that bolt up, the pto lever is in front of it, can someone tell me how to get ot to stop leaking?

Bad way would be to weld it in place. Right way is to remove the left axle "trumpet" housing and tighten the castle nut on the inside. Good time to replace axle seals and hub, if worn, and any other parts as needed.

As John said. If your axle seals are not leaking, you may be able
to remove the whole axle trumpet axle and all and tighten it up
and then put it back in. Certainly wouldn't be a hand held job, it
would require at least a cherry picker for the weight.
