Cylcone filter

Hey guys I bought a cyclone filter assembly it is used it is in great shape the only prob is the jar that came with it does not fit
right Is there a special size that's supposed to fit it can i order a new one if so where the jar that's on it now is smooth I
thought may be some kin of special jar Also the tractor is 1952 ford 8N thanks for any help

I ordered a new jar from this site, YT. It fit perfectly.

The Cyclone Air Pre-Cleaner used a special 1/2 pint glass jar that said Air Cleaner Services on the jar but any 1/2 pint Mason jar should work except the square ones. Now, there are two rubber gaskets needed to seal the pre cleaner and get maximum efficiency out of it. One is a flat washer type gasket that goes on the top of the jar as it pushes up into the housing. The other is a piece of rubber hose cut with scallops one at two sides radially so it fits over the intake pipe going into the air cleaner and forms a seal there. Dennis Carpenter makes and sells the gaskets and an exact-as-original jar: You need part numbers, 230055 -rubber seal; ACP-1248 -Jar Gasket; 230056 -Glass Jar. If needed, they also sell a bail just like the original, p/n 230053. Hope this helps...
