Pulled the top cover, drained the black fuid out the tranny and rear end. Took the bolts out for the PTO shaft...shaft won't come out. I can see the splines forward side in the pump they aren't twisted. Shaft only comes out about 1/2" 48 8n suggestions please

Bolt a long heavy piece of chain to the housing and whip the chain , lightly to start with then more aggressive if it looks like it is working .
 
I agree, try a lil persuasion, but nothing drastic. If you have a slide hammer, that may work if it is must barely stuck, or has a but or a small ridge its trying to swage to get out.
 
Screwed some deals Into the holes with a nut behind. Turning the nut putting pressure on it is moving it ever so slowly. Its so close to coming out. He's standing to the side so he doesn't get wacked when it let's go. Will post back in a bit if it comes out.

May be a slight twist, few degrees, or a wear ridge.

Don't get too force full if it does not act like it is really moving good.
 
That's what I'm wondering. Never encountered a stuck shaft before. On the plus side I've got spare pumps and shafts if needed. Took a break to eat haven't got it out yet. Ran out of thread and had to rig it up again.
 
Put spacers under the bolts, keep using short bolts and nut that way... just keep going to thicker spacers
