took my 51 to the hunting cabin to get some ash and oak off some state land that was logged. With the magical permit from the dnr we were allowed to use a motor vehicle to retrieve the wood. 2/3rd of the wood in the pile was hauled this weekend. *please no lectures on the boom pole* Tractor preformed well. Couple other pics working on the 48 in the shop. Saturday was a little cold and windy. But no snow and was dry so that made it all the better. pretty stiff and sore today pulling logs around into piles for the tractor to pick up.

Great pictures Lisa! In the third one I think I see Sasquatch
lurking behind the trailer! Either that or someone hung their
jacket on the trailer ramp. Can't tell for sure! LOL

I assume the next to the last pic is your daughter?
Cute girl! What is she holding there? Scraper? Screwdriver?

I won't lecture on the boom pole. You already know you
deserve one. Glad everyone is safe. Keep it that way! :)

Lol..yes that's a coat. Although I was
having a conversation with Mr about
Sasquatch eating my blueberry pie and
ice cream while we were gone. Luckily
it was still there when we returned.
That's miss McKenna she will be 6 in
May. She came in the shop so I put her
to work scraping dirt off. Need to get
her a pair of gloves.

Yep. Every trip I raised the load before I even sat
on the tractor made sure the front tires stayed on
the ground. Took it pretty slow. She likes to help.
Definitely enjoys the outdoors.

Nice of the dnr to allow you to have the wood. Around here they would let it rot before letting anyone have it

I hear ya. $25 for the permit. Well worth it. Some
other people had been out there but all they took
was the bigger easy stuff. Pure laziness if you ask
me.

Laziness? I don't know about that, really? I'm not climbing to the top of the tree to pick the apples at the top first, are you? Low hanging fruit always comes down first. ;)

Well..I was referring to the people that live in that area...But referring to the fruit...Im short so the fruit on the bottom goes first, then I will use a ladder to get to the top...lazy people would just leave the fruit on the top to rot.

Great photos, Lisa! Looks like you have a good helper in the shop too! Can't wait 'til Thomas is old enough to help out. He's getting there. Discovered power drills the other day. Unplugged, of course. Now, how do you stay so clean when working on an old tractor? My wife would love to know your secret. ;-)

Colin

Thanks Colin! Your little guy sure is growing up fast! Im sure that he will enjoy helping you out quite a bit! Im not that clean by the end of the day. I think that pic was when we started taking the engine apart. That's one nice thing about Kenna she doesn't mind getting dirty.
