Well some good news, some not so good. The motor was stuck when I got it, I was not worried about it to much. I filled cylinders with 50/50 mix of ATF/Acetone mix. Let it sit a couple days. The motor is free now and sounds ok when rotated with starter with plugs out.
Now the not so good, the new distributor turned out to have Pertronix in it. Wiring is all new but a complete mess.
1) no spark, ignition switch is dead.
2) I ran a jumper wire from battery to coil wire and distributor "no spark"
3)I know nothing about Pertronix and things are a mess, so I want to remove that distributor and replace it with a points dizzy from another tractor.
4) How do I set the point dizzy in the engine properly to know it is set to fire on proper plug.
Also I looked in my manual it gives firing order, but not what plug is #1 # 2 ect..
Thanks for any help ...
