Needing to widen the upper drive, I decided to get Hermie out and blade it back some.
I bought a new 'Sleep Number" bed for Leslie, so we could start getting her use to sleeping, with out using the borrowed hospital bed!!! (Been a full yr. and a half with that bed)
The new bed is to be delivered, on the 10th of this month,....thus the need for the wider drive way, to accept the deliv. truck.
1 1/2ft of snow is kinda hard to back through.
Anyway....got Hermie, backed out of the shop, and commenced plowing the upper drive.......NOT!!! Got to the first side of the drive...blade hit the berm.....Hermie came to a sudden stop and set there with both rears churnning. Dang snow has sat there too long, and what with rain, then snow, below zero weather, and more snow......I'm left with a SOLID 1 1/2 ft. of snow!!!!
Quit plowin', and just played with Hermie for awhile....climbing around on top of the snow.
Did get a little bit wider drive....all of about 3" of ice removal at the edges.

Those delivery guys are really young, and most are just city slickers. I'm suprised that they could even pass the tests!!!

You will LOVE that sleep number bed. We have had ours
about five years and I still love it.

When you get it you will wonder what you paid for. It arrives in
two little cheap boxes. Just put it together. You won't regret it
at all. It was well worth your money. I have bad arthritis and
climbing into my "30" gives me a wonderful nights sleep. I
check the air pressure in it when the time changes. It won't
need checking any more than that.

Did you buy the mattress pad? The top has a lifetime warranty
if you have it on there.

As we used to say - "barely gets wet above the toenails,
regardless of sea state". LOL

Glad to see you had some sun at least.
Good for the spirit even if it doesn't melt the snow!

Time fly's don't it... I sleep by my self and need 7 pillows no room for a guest... Mom calls it a birds nest

Have you ever thought about moving away from that white chit..

Have you ever thought about moving away from that white chit.

Actually this yr. tested me purdy hard. Have thought about it
MANY times, but always comes down to the $$'s.
Times have changed as the yrs go by, and for us to sell out, and move south...we would not have the cash, to move into something else, and still own as much as we do now!!
For our time left, and our age, we just are planning to make the best of what we have, and try to enjoy life!!!

Gary (55 yrs yesterday, to the same 'ol' gal) [/i:a130ec706b][/b:a130ec706b]
