New Funk

Looks like we are getting a new funk. I wanted a fathead to go along with our 1950 OHV Funk. This is said to be a 1949 8N. I hope to pick it up this weekend.

Is that the governor, belt driven, in front of the manifold? Wonder what kind they used?

That likes like a very nice Funk!
The governor is just the standard 8N unit.
They priovided a pulley to replace the gear.
Interesting cut to the hood by the carb?

Ya, that's what it looks like.
But, they shouldn't have needed to.
It looks to be the origional shallow type air cleaner on there.
Looks like the origional industrial engine with the flat manifold.
Not a auto / truck engine.
