front rim options for 9n?

HI everyone. I've been reading the forum for a while and like the option of getting tread tires for the front of my '41. I see that some are using old ford rims and hubs? are they a direct swap for the hubs on the tractor? or need modified. are there other options?
i truly hate my tri-ribs while trying to drag all this dumb snow around... my tires go sideways and slide and almost took me over the bank a couple days ago

Can't help with the rims, but you can use the
brakes to help steer - assuming that both left and
right brakes work.

There was an optional 16 inch rim that fit the 9N and then you can go to wider 16 inch tires which may help. Problem is finding a set of them. There out there but hard to find

Pulling or pushing heavy snow is going to have a habit of causing your front tires to slide sideways. No matter what kind of tires you put on.
Ever consider putting chains on the front?

well i have a tire going bad anyways (cracked bad enough i can see the tube in places)... and the rim on the other side is questionable. chains might help but wanting to replace rubber and a rim anyways. my hope is that a wider tire with tread will be easier on the yard when i drive across, and not as easily jack-knife. I mainly use it to blade the driveway, but just bought some property and going to clean out the woods with it too

We had these 16" rims on an 8n with 9n
spindles and hubs. I have an earlier 9n
withdiffernet style rims I'll see if I can
find a pic.

On my 8N I have a set of 7:50-16 tires that are the old mud and snow tires of years back. But I need a wide tire up front due to the loader and back hoe on it
