Starter Drive

I pulled my starter out of my new 841S and this is what I found. Doesn't this look like the starter drive from an 8N and if so, will it still work on the 841? The starter looks correct but I'm puzzled about the starter drive.

That is the correct drive for your tractor. This is used on naa and later tractors. The 8n starter drive is different.

Ken,
I just ordered a 12v starter from Yesterdays
tractor for my Jubilee. It looks like the starter
on the left and the starter drive looks like the
one on the left too. It works just fine. Do you
think YT sent the wrong one? Check out their parts
page.
