I just bought a Ford 8N. I am trying to make sure that I put the right gauges and switches in the correct places. I have ordered a new light switch, and my tractor has the starter switch next to the shifter. Can anyone tell me what all of the extra holes are for? They look like switch holes and attachment bolt holes. Any Ideas?

Bullet holes from when the guy you bought the tractor from was trying to get away from the farm where he got it. :D

Don't mind me . . . you'll get all the right answers here.

A PO has randomly drilled a bunch of holes. You ain't gonna find a diagram of that in the parts catalog or Harold Hagel's originality guide.

Here's a picture of a dash panel like it came from the factory. Any other holes were made by a previous owner for reasons known only to him.

Funny! Thanks. I may add a few more before it's over, but i think i will be welding closed any that I can't find a good use for, and then smoothing down and painting
