position control help

Seems like I remember reading about this issue somewhere on here before, but I cant find the post.

Dads 48 8N. when trying to use the position control lever to raise/lower the blade on the back, I notice a couple issues:

1- raising the lever up from the bottom toward the top, there is no movement for roughly 60-70%, the only control is in the top 1/3.

2- in the lower part of the quadrant, there is a lot of tension on the handle. you cannot pull it up and have it stay, you have to hold it up otherwise it springs back down.

are these the symptoms of needing adjusted? I would assume nothing is broken, since the lift still functions.

if it needs adjusted, i'll assume I need to order a jig from zane?

[b:9afe2701d3]A little odd, as the only thing that should be pushing it back would be the spring behind the intake control valve in the pump.[/b:9afe2701d3]
