19" tires for the woods

Been dragging trees out of the woods for firewood but keep getting thorns in the new 3 rib tires. The tubes are starting to look like a chia pet with the green Slime coming out of them. What are the options--if any?

Steel wheels if you could find them.
Foam filled tires also work well for that, until they need changing.
Others may have some more ideas.

Years ago there was a heavy liner one could put in the tires to stop that but they are hard to find now days. Foam works well then can cause other problems. Probably the best option is find some one who can make you a set of steel wheels

Yeah, I have a set of 7.5 x 16's full of foam that I'm going to
try to cut off the rims with a Sawz-All. Not going to be fun.
There is no tread left, not even wire bands in spots, I can
see the foam through the top of the tire. But they're not flat.
Not even on one side. LOL

Heavy? Oh yeah! I'm not even going to mess with the rears
until I absolutely have to. They're full of foam too.

Racer.......sumtimes you can gitt USED 19"-motorcycle tires that will have a belted tread. ($20, cheap) .......tired Dell

Steel wheels or foam the tire will get you there but
if you foam the tire it will ride rougher, steer
harder and add weight.
If you want or have to change them it's a bit of a
job. Here is the front tire off my 184 cub loboy
being cut off with a sawall. Probably just should
have gotten a new rim.

I've removed dozens of tires from rims that have been filled with foam. The mistake most people make is filling small tires tubeless. Put a tube in there and fill the tube with foam. If you ever remove the foam, it has value. The people that fill large tires with foam will put those chunks in large tires and than top them off with new foam. you hit it right on with the green slime its junk.

Hmm, looked at the reliners from Gempler's. Is this a mounting headache??
I think I may have some old 19" Harley tires. If not I know where a mountain of them are but I still think these Jesus thorns aka locust tree thorns may still puncture them.
Does Co-op do the foam thing?
Can you do it yourself?

Well, did a little archive reading. I think motorcycle foam filled tires may be in the future.

I don't know your terrain thorn types but here I have blackberry canes galore.

Fortunately, it seems, I spared my tires by using my landscape rake, blade and drag to get all the canes out of my tractor paths first.
