Ford 9n hydraulic problems

Hello all, I have a 1942 ford 9N. The 3 point quit lifting, I checked to make sure control valve linkage was working properly and it was. Removed rockshaft housing and inspected all parts. Removed hydraulic pump and rebuilt hydraulic pump. Reassembled everything, tractor worked fine for a few days then quit again. Once again checked to make sure linkage forks hadn't popped off control valve and they hadn't. Removed rockshaft and checked over again. Reached down in oil and shoved control valve in pump which I believe should send pressure oil up to the rockshaft? Cautiously started tractor, kicked in pto and no oil came out the oil tube. Shut tractor off and reached back in and made sure valve had not moved back out of pump. Not sure if this was a legitimate check or not but thought it was worth a shot. The only thing I did not replace in the pump was the valve chambers. Maybe it's plugged up with some debris but I would think some oil would shoot out the oil tube. Any advice would be appreciated, I'm at a loss for ideas at this point. Thanks, Seth

Cracked pump? Cracked tube? Bad relief valve? What
does it look like when it is running and you have
the inspection cover off?

Yes I have inspection cover off, Some turbulence from pto shaft and pump turning, but I wouldn't call it excessive. Oil does seem to have a lot of air bubbles in it.

Air bubbles is the big clue that you have a cracked base. What happens is the tractor gets left outside in the elements for a period of time, then winter hits and the water that has collected freezes. The guy decides to fire it up and plow snow engages pump and CRACK. It's good practice to always check fluid levels before using your tractor. A quick look at the muddy oil would detect water present.

Yep my original Aluminum casting cracked but it didn't affect performance, it'd seep oil though.

I've got a working pump - I'm in Ohio if it helps. Email should be open.
