Hello all, Been lurking here for a long time finally signed up!
The wealth of knowledge here is incredible, I have learned so much about old ford tractors and now I have the sickness.
Any way need to build or buy brackets for the one arm 711 loader to fit the NAA. Any help is GREATLY Appreciated.
Have Great day

8n, dexta, and NAA 1-arm loader brackets are rare as hens teeth.

at least for the NAA, they aren't too hard to make.

4 basic parts.

1, the axle bolster hanger.

this can be torched from 1/2" plate, drill 2 mount holes in it at the top lip, then bore or torch a big hole for the toe of the loader.

2, the under trans strap.

this can be torched from 3/8 plate or flat stock. essentially one hole in an end to grab the connection point of the base of the foot on the laoder, and then 1-2 holes to grab a low hanging bolt under the tranny.

3, the side / hip bracket.

on a 00/000 series, it's harder to make, on a naa, it's actually easier. you can make this from 1/2" plate and the bottom of the bracket can have a pipe welded to it as you use a bellhousing (longer) bolt to go thru. it will then have a lip welded on it to interface to a top plate bracket that sets above the tranny bellhousing and sandwiches between the steering box.

4, the top plate we just spoke ok. 1/4" plate, basically goes under the steering box and then has a thumb out the side to stabilize the hip bracket using 2 bolts

i had made some templates before for other people when i had my naa apart, but think i may have sent them all out. I'll try to find some pictures if i still have them, of the seperate brackets. May not, i no longer use a pc, everything is tablet or phone now, lost a bunch of my old pictures.

here's the set for a standard 4 cyl 55-64. that bracket with a nub looks different as i described, and instead of bolting thru to the bellhousing, the lower hole is instead using a bellhousing to trans mount bolt, and the top 2 holes connect to the top plate instead of the bellhousing.

nope, no other pictures, though i do have an old copy of the manual that showed the 3 bracket kits for the na, 8n , and dexta. it's old and pics are fuzzy, but i can scan and email them, will give you some idea maybee,

lets see if this works.

if it does, credit pic to ultradog

this is that hip bracket. bottom bolt goes thru to the bellhousing

the lip attches to a plate you mount under the steering box.

I thought maybe the 8n top tranny bracket might be
the same as the NAA top tranny bracket but I
checked the manual and it's not the same number so I
am no help on this one. I probably have the foot
bracket off one of the later hundred series if you
need a measurement on that. Soundguy has the one arm
bandit on one of his Naa but once they are mounted
it kind of a PIA to get the right measurements.

weird. could nto get it to display on any win 8.1 device i had. here at work this am i plopped down on an aging vista machine and it displays.

simply weird!

Thanks everyone! It would be great to have templates or measurements of the parts BUT I realize its a pain in the bottom to get those especially this time of year. I will probably hang/block/shim the loader and make some mock ups out of thin plywood or something just to work it out close then make the parts. the pics are a big help so I can see what they should look like. again many thanks. I will update as I get progress. :)

That is not weird - it is job security. Diagnosing and fixing things like that is what keeps IT geeks employed and well paid. ;-)

PS> If you think Vista is an aging platform you really don't want to know what I have under my desktop

My foot plate is off the tractor so I can make you up a template for that Just can't help with the other brackets. I have hundred series utility and row crop and 8n brackets but no NAA.
Send me an email with your address and I'll mail it to you.
