I got the bumper that was on the Fargo Craigslist last week.
Any ideas on brand? I'd like to track down a sales ad for it.

Kevin in MN

Looks similar to the one that was offered by Montgomery Ward for the Ford tractor. There is a sales brochure for it on the other "N" site in the Manuals section.

Kevin nice catch. I made a custom one and patterned it after that model. I just like the look.

Is that 1/2" flat stock on the legs? Whats the width of the flat stock?

Nice score Kevin.
I was hoping someone here would nab it.
I would have bought it myself but have a newer tractor that uses a different style bumper.

Nice find! I think having a bumper on these Ns is a must. That grill and radiator are very vulnerable without one.

Glad ya got it. I picked up the original
yesterday then spent the night as Dakota
majic won't be going there again....

Good find,

But it looks like it would need the 45 degree
bracket welded in place on each side as the original
Ford bumper has.

Pushing a heavy load or pulling at an angle might
bend it to the side.

I have never seen one like it before or the original
either.

Wow! THREE mount holes per side!

Are there three holes in a row on the axle . . . I'll have to go look. :D

My bumper is two mount bolts per side.
You could hang a lot of ballast on that beauty.

I don't think you'll be using the center hole.
