silver solder 2n engine block sound guy

I'm going to reiterate that you don't get caught up in some BS about soldering it.
If the block is structurally sound and you have a pin hole or small crack use a good epoxy block patch.
There are several good products on the market.
Follow the directions that come with it.
Google epoxy block patch or some such to find it.

I know that pinholes can be sealed in poorly welded gas tanks by heating them up with a propane torch and then applying the green loctite sleeve retainer to the area. It fills in the invisible pin holes and gets hard from the heat. Works pretty good for a long time. The green loctite is spendy though. Silver solder prperly done would no doubt be better but the green loctite works.

A pin hole could be fixed with a punch and lead.

But don't get it on your skin because it's been shown in CA to cause cancer in your lab rats!

You got that right. I have been planning on making some front wheel weights out of lead but cant find any and to buy it out right is expensive and that is if you can find some.

Years back when I worked in the typesetting business I had a lot of lead ingots. Used them for various things over the years and have only one left. Keeping it for old time sake.
