Got a parts tractor today that was in a fire and got started checking for usable parts. One of the first things I noticed was this manifold.. anybody recognize this type. It's on a 2n that was supposed to be running good before the fire. Thanks

I got one around here somewhat like that... The intake is sorta separate from the Zaust and takes a longer mounting stud... Its a neat set up the one I have looks to be in excellent condition... I posted it 10/12 years ago are so no one replied so it must be a rare manifold..

This one has the longer mounting studs too...sure makes the
nuts easy to get to. Have you ever had the manifold mounted
on anything? If so how did it work. I have the nuts soaking and
will take it off later to check mounting surface. Might try it on a
known runner to see how it does.

Gary...it's rare but I'll make you a deal on it . Hermie would
look good with thing stuck to the side of him.

These pop up now and then and were aftermarket ones made overseas somewhere -Japan, Korea, India... I forget but not the early 9N style Barkley has.

The last time there was a post on one of those John Smith stated that it was an aftermarket manifold and they were a little more durable then the OEM manifold.

They make it sound like a Harley and add extra HP...
YMMV

They are a big chunk of steel tho...

If I get around to it I will post the engine side pix...

o you need to add extra air in right side tires to prevent starboard list?

Wonder what happened to this style manifold? Did it cause problems with the engine, too expensive to make or did the companies that made it just disappear, also would you use the same style gasket as the OEM manifold?
