I cleaned the flywheel up in my parts cleaner and got to taking a real close look and some of the ring gear teeth were very chewed up (hard to see when the old oil/grease was on there). So, I took another trip to the machine shop to drop it off so the ring gear could be replaced. He was doing the line bore later that day on the block so I couldn't get it yet. Boy, it's always mission creep when redoing one of these old machines. The machinist asked me if I wanted it resurfaced and I told him that I defer to his judgment on that. I only want to do this one time in my lifetime. Foolin' with these old machines gets naught naught expensive, I'm going to need "Jethro" to naught naught all these figures up for me.
