8N sector shaft

On that 8N steering box I'm redoing, the dust seal on the sector shaft has totally disappeared and the part # 86553476 isn't something anybody will admit to knowing - so before I making do or going to the dealer to hand over my monthly social security check does anybody have a NAPA part number or suggestion for a sealing washer? Looks like the old one was a fibre about 1.4" O.D. and about 1.15" I.D. Kinda like the horseshoe nail that was lost, horse lost, knight lost etc...

What model box? 48-49 or 49-52?

My MPC doesn't show that number. In fact, it has no 8 digit numbers anywhere. Is that a CNH number?

If you're talking about the fiber dust seal p/n 3586 in the MPC, I got some from nnalert's. Seeing the material & how they were made, I made my own from a grey fiber sanding pad.

Thank you again. Two options. Bruce the machine is a 48 or 49 I haven't tried chasing casting numbers but it is before SN 216989, Motor is a 1951 so I'm working on a "mutt". Ultra dog thanks I added another parts source to my book marks.
