In my first post I said I had to put a rotary file in my drill press and open up the I.D. a little to get the gasket on the drain plug.
Well, today I received a new drain plug and two new gaskets from Steiner. The plug came with a gasket on it but it was not all the way on. I was able to screw it down over the threads though. I could not do this with the gasket I complained about in my other post.
The gasket that came with the new plug was a tan colored gasket. The two extra gaskets I ordered were a black material and those just slipped nicely over the threads.
I guess it just depends on where you order your parts. I also got a nice new oil breather cap with an extra filter for it.
At least now when I do my next oil change I know I won't have to screw around with anything. I'll just put in the new plug.
