Is the short thin copper strap that goes from the
points to the condensers screw insulator terminal
available to purchase separately?
Anyone have a part number?
I could probably also use the plastic insulator and
screw if it comes in a kit

I was not able to ever find it listed, I used a piece of copper from an old set of points to change mine and the one in there was basically torn in half

No

You need to make your own. Use the copper strip from an old set of points.

Go to Home Depot & get Hillman p/n 881189 & make your own insulator.

0.250 x 3/8 SQ Nylon Anchor Nut

You won't find a concave head brass screw even if you buy a new plate. Best stick w/ what you have.

For the front distributor?

The MPC (page 149) doesn't show it as a separate part because it attached to the plate. And I can't find it in Carpenter's catalog.

You can use the copper strip from old set of points. The plastic insulator can be made from a plastic license plate insert that snaps in your bumper for your license plate bolts to screw into. They are available at auto parts stores!
