The SPCT is now accepting new members. :)

I felt sorry for the little beast as I walked by just now.

awww, give him a blanky. that's what my niece told me about mine last winter when it wouldn't start at -20, course that was her cure for a stillborn lamb that was frozen solid also. blankys fix anything, lol. no snow here yet, but its threatening, shoulda put the chains on yesterday, when the sun was out lol

Well shiver me tractors!

Killroy,

So cute about your niece. Kids are such a beautiful reminder that joy isn't something we are supposed to leave behind when we get older.

Did you guys get what SPCT was?

Cheers,
Terry

Ya!
Only the cross looks like a lug nut spinner.
But for the initiation period its a set of rear wheel weights … but only one side. :D

I'm quite certain my N has significantly more snow than that on it right now. But I'm almost as certain that I'll be able to get it to start so I can plow the drive next time I'm at the cabin. I just hope there's not too much snow to plow by the time I get out there.

Seems to me that the alternator bodies stick more out into the rain and snow than the slimmer generator bodies did. If I was leaving mine out I'd make a little tin roof for the alt. :)

This is how my Samantha Jean survived through the wind and snow last week during Thanksgiving.

This pict is of my Dad and I 2 summers ago after just finishing the frame on the pole shed. Its 10 x 16. Wish I made it 12 x 20.

Thanks for the photos men.

Greywolf.

Very nice shelter; that's what I had in mind when I bought the cheap tent.

You could do a shed roof off of one side to get more width and maybe remove the center post afterwards , and also add a little extension "porch" off of the end for more length. All the hard work of planning is already done. In both add-ons the roofing would come up under what you've already put up so that part would be easy.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, it's a blessing to have your dad still around. Mine died at 94 five years ago.

Tall thanks.
Since I did plan on extending it, I wanted to extend it another 6-10 feet before winter but never got it in. So next spring it is.

I am sorry to hear about your dad. I just hope I have the good fortune to have him around as long as you did.

Dad is turning 80 this year. Tough old bird. He is 145 pounds soak and wet. Heaviest he has ever been is 151 lbs.
Thought I lost him 8 years back when diagnosed with 2 large malignant tumors in his postrate than again 5 years back with colon cancer. The good Lord wasn't ready for him yet.

He is presently not talking to me since I hid his chain saws. After hiding it from us for close to a year, he had to under go an emergency hernia opertion a few weeks back. Seems like he was pushing it back in every time it popped out. Now he wants to go cut a few trees down.
He told Mom he was gonna use the ax like he used to.
