my new exhaust stack for the jubilee just got here, im going vertical for 2 reasons, first i have a few tractor rides to do for friends kids, [ all on pvt property and 0 traffic] and i really dont need to blow exhaust in their faces when there on the trailer, i took the whole exhaust pipe off for the 1st ride and that worked,[ 1 bolt and the muffler clamp holds the entire pipe on, so thats easy] , the other reason is i have about 30 acres of fire prevention brush hogging to do and its in tinder dry grass and weeds about 4 feet tall i feel better without a under slung exhaust, now the problem the stack is the same size as the muffler exit, thats not a big deal, i can get a collar to fix that or borrow a pipe expansion tool for the muffler end, but i also ordered a rain cap, in the same order, it also came, its for 2 1/2 exhaust pipe, ummm, what am i supposed to use that for? the jubilee is 1 7/8 lol the stack also came with a piece of flat stock about 6 inches long, you guys who went to vertical stacks, are you using that piece somewhere? i got other tractors here at the farm but the trailer we're using i dont want to put on my cub, just not enough tractor,ot brakes, the jubilee's brakes will lock both rear wheels if i want them too, and the jd is way too much tractor besides its loud, way too loud to hear the people on the trailer both have vertical stacks, the tractors i grew up with all had them too so by george the ford can just join the crowd
