I think I got most of these from Dunk (RIP), I am sure they are somewhere on the internet. Someone asked in another thread for them, so I thought I would post them in a stand alone thread. These are a 9N, I have never seen pics like this for an 8N.

Cool pics...thanks for sharing. I'm guessing they bolted the quadrant on like that to give a better view.

Where and when were those cutaway tractor pictures taken? Think I know that tractor and the person that made it and club I now belong to that owns it.

I think Dunk had said he took them at a tractor show. If I remember right he lived in Alabama. Must had been sometime ago. I think Dunk left us a few years ago.
So, where is the tractor now? What is the name of the tractor group?

If it is the tractor that It looks like to me it was made by Don Knasel of Maplewood, Ohio and donated to the Shelby County Antique Power Assn., Sidney Ohio. It was at Portland, In. last August. Been less than 3 years since completed if I remember correctly. Could be a different one but done same way but it looks like the same supports to mount it to the trailer.

I saved these very pictur4es to my files in Nov 2008. Did you go to the link I posted above....may be a clue there.

If that cutaway tractor picture was had in 2008 It is not the tractor I thought it was but a different one done same way as the one I thought it might have been but was not done till after 2010.

old-9" is the guy whose link I posted & he posted this morning on Tractor Talk about testing propane bottles....you might go there & get in contact with him to see what he knows.

I have known old-9 about 4 years now. And I know he was at portland this year where the cutaway tractor was.

The 9N Cutaway tractor model belongs to Awesome Henry. You can see his trailer in the background in one photo. I know where there are more pictures...

And the winner is? yes these photos were taken at the Portland show by Joe Reynolds ,me. As I don't know how to post photos I emailed them to "Dunk" to post for me. Awesome Henry did make it and at that time owned it, I don't know if they still have it or have sold it. The "cutaway " at Portland this year is not the same tractor.
I sure miss Dunk and his humor, RIP Dunk.

Hello to Leroy ,see you in Winamac next July.

Awesome Henry, Don Knasel of Maplewood, Ohio perhaps 15 mile from me made it and turned ownership of it over to the tractor club he helped form, The Shelby County Antique Power Association and they now own it. In just a couple of days I have the club Christmas dinner about 2 mile from where Don lives. He lost his wife a couple of years ago and since just hasn't been that active in the club. He used to have the anual November bean supper at his place. And Joe I am planning on making it to Winnamac or as it was dubbed first year I was there Winnamuck.

Forgot to mention. Before Don made it the project was discussed with the club in that if he made it would the club take over the ownership of it and it was decided at that time they would with the stipulation that it would have to be taken to other shows.

I would have no problem finding that tractor at any time or Don, Awesome Henry. Dod used to before retirement time owned a auto body shop in Sidney, Ohio. And before that he was sherif of Shelby Co.
