1940 9n resistor/terminal board question

Did this tractor come with the 1/4"-20 welded nuts on the small bracket to attach the resistor to?
My new resistor came with 10-24(maybe -32)screws, but they are too small. I'm going to have to make a hardware store run to get the right size but I was just curious about how it came originally. If not original, it appears to be a good job with the 1/4" welded nuts--

'$1 9n may be a little different, but doubt it. Mine has short Philips screws holding it on. I would suggest getting whatever is holding it on now,and if you don't like the style,go to a hardware store and get some Philips screws to work. Make sure that they aren't too long.

Mine has the cast iron dash. it has two short slotted flat head screws. I think they are 1/4 fine thread.

Resistor 12250. Two versions (early/late) (12250-A, 12250-B) used different mounting holes/screws. 5/16 & 1/4 I think.
