Went away on my last road trip...."Gotta make sure I put in the diesel fuel conditioner and a touch of kerosene when I get back".....Murphy and I are great friends....Temp dropped...drove home to the farm as the blizzard in Buffalo was starting..guess whose tractor doesn't start...oh well...hope the torpedo heater starts right up....wish me luck!!
 
Torpedo heaters are great...if they start. Mine started 100% of the time UNTIL it dropped to -25 degrees here in Michigan last year. Then it would not fire. When the weather warmed up again, it started again.
 
Buffalo as in New York??? If yes maybe you could help me find and old navy friend who lives or did live in that area. His name is Douglas Jones and his parents own a from in that area
 
And the weatherguesser says ANOTHER 2ft by Friday for that area ~YIKES~
So glad isn't my area.... YET!!!!!!
 
Can not tell you much other then his name and about when he was in the Navy. When he was in he was a Hull tek so his work would be welding etc. He was in around 1980 and would have got out some time in the 80s. His family had a farm in that area but that is about all I know other then his name Douglas Jones.
By the way I saw on the new that you guys are under 9 foot of snow is that true???
 
I did not go to the site because it takes so long to down load on dial up but if your talking one of the ones like Navy buddy I am a member
