When I first started watching this, not knowing that it was doomed to fail, I noticed that he positioned a dead cedar across the creek first that looked ridiculously skinny for that span.

After that he lays the second one and cuts off or renders useless 3' or more of the FATTEST ends of each log!!

In the second video he lays good heavy deck probably thinking he is increasing the load bearing strength of the bridge. NOT!
and so of course his useless beam collapses under the weight of his heavy JD.

He's damn lucky his tractor didn't roll and pin him face down in the shallow water.
