is there a correct or simpler way to remove the inter oil seal in the rear axel than to beat it out.can it be pulled out.what tool?

You MAY be able to use a seal puller if you have one. Otherwise, you can get it out with large screwdrivers, etc.

I usually work something between the seal housing and the casting (carefully) so that I can deform the housing to get behind it.

I was thinking about making a hook or double hook to pull it out after I remove the axel.i don't remember how far in the seal sets.then I have to put in the new seal someway.
I though they made this easy to work on.

Keep that thought! Often the anticipation is worse that the task. You will know when you actually get to the task.
Yes, ought to be able to hook behind it & pull it out. Get in there & look at it. Suitable piece of pipe to push new one in. I see no problem here. It will all work out.
