The eBay seller got back to me. I've never ever not had a package come to my apartment because the address doesn't exist. I've bought tons of stuff off eBay I'm not even sure how to respond to the seller.

I asked the seller to send me a picture of
the shipping label. I even provided him
orbher my email address to do so. I've had
the same post man and lived at the same
place for 7 years. They have no problem
delivering any other mail to my place. I'm
about ready to tell the seller to just
refund my money. I'm sure they're not
wanting to pay to ship it out again

I will go there again in the morning. They have no problem bringing my bills or junk mail. The post office knew I was looking for it because I went in there and asked them about it and she had the sheet with the tracking info. No excuse they know where I live

I have had packages returned to the sender because the address given was to my P.O.box instead of my residence. The PO will NOT receive packages.

Some apartments have only a po box for the tenants. No packages are to be delivered.

So, I would have the package shipped to a another location. Maybe the creditcard used had a billing address, but the "shipping address" should have been different.

How do I get it off? Haha if the post office can't find me nobody else should be able to :) I absolutely agree something is u . Never bought from that seller before. I'll get on the computer and see if I can get it off somehow

You can go back & delete it on Modern side anyway. I just did to see if it would work & it did.

Lisa, obviously your seller shipped an item.
You have the tracking info to prove that and that it was returned.
This isn't the seller's fault unless they got the address wrong.
If they got the address wrong it is on them.
If they shipped to your "confirmed address" then it is on the PO.
Either way, it is on the shipper to deal with the PO or refund
your money. They do not have to refund shipping cost though.
If you want it, I would try to work it out with the seller.

Lisa,I agree with Royse on this. By all means ask for the photocopy from the seller and take it to your local p.o. and verify your carrier had the package "out for delivery" as the tracking info indicated. If the seller can document he shipped it with your correct address on the label, then your local p.o. has some explaining to do.If tracking data has their stamp on it ,they received it there and are responsible for the delivery. It sounds to me,if the sellers response is indeed honest, that your delivery guy is the culprit.I don't know the circumstances behind e-bay not covering this as I've never had that happen to me. I don't remember,as this thread has gotten long, was the item insured through the usps? I don't know what kind of money we're talking about here, but I would not let them get away with this. Something smells fishy here. The seller has proof, then the postal service has to verify his records. You're entitled to that.I know it's a headache, but don't quit on this. You did nothing wrong! Good luck. (edit)I almost forgot/did the seller use a paypal account?

That's good. Paypal can and will resolve any issues that go thru them. They've always resolved any problems of this sort that I had.

Effen stupid! My name is spelt wrong...he's missing "street" in the address and its forks not folks but he mush have gotten the zip code right. What an idiot. No wonder I didn't get it..he says please advise what I want him to do. Print a dang shipping label correct not hand write it incorrect.

I'd say the USPS did all it could....

TOH

Yes I was not very polite in explaining what he did wrong in my response to him. I told him to address it correctly and spelt it all out again in bold letters and mail it to me.

That's kinda what I expected. You'd be amazed at some of the address's you can get.
Thank goodness no one burned the PO down before the verdict was in! :D
