NAA Wheel Weights

I've asked this before and am still wondering but something finally dawned on me. while the holes in my disks seemed random to me at first i now see that there are two circles of bolt holes evenly spaced.

One circle is comprised of 4 holes nearest the axle hub
and the other ring of holes is comprised of 6 holes perfectly spaced.

The holes aren't drilled tangential to the curve but are drilled parallel to the lay of the axle (or perpendicular to the mounting flange of the disk) which leads me to believe it may have even been a factory option.

So needless to say, I'm searching for what those weights would have looked like so I can hunt for them.

Thanks,
Terry

A PO drilled the holes so as to mount weights from an unknown application.

Who knows what the weights were intended to fit.

<sigh>
You're probably right.

Placed the weights on and used them as the pilot for the holes.

Thanks

Quite likely you are right on that.
Could have been Allis, JD, Farmall - who knows what.

At least now I won't have my tunnel-visioned eye peeled for NAA weights.

Thanks for that. :)

I could get a blacksmith friend to make me some heavy rings
with heavy spokes to the center, to a short weight-lifting bar.

My guess would be MF 35, 135, etc. weights, but it is nothing more than an educated guess.

"Educated" is right!
Thanks, I'll put that on file.

Sure looks like these would fit.

Great!

That picture I posted of the weight, seems to match up every hole, but I guess that's totally unnecessary as long as the outer ring of holes conforms to the weight. (?)

Thanks!

Terry

Edit:
Doh!
I thought that the inner 4-bolt section belonged with the weight behind, but now I see that each weight has all 10 holes.
