I've asked this before and am still wondering but something finally dawned on me. while the holes in my disks seemed random to me at first i now see that there are two circles of bolt holes evenly spaced.
One circle is comprised of 4 holes nearest the axle hub
and the other ring of holes is comprised of 6 holes perfectly spaced.
The holes aren't drilled tangential to the curve but are drilled parallel to the lay of the axle (or perpendicular to the mounting flange of the disk) which leads me to believe it may have even been a factory option.
So needless to say, I'm searching for what those weights would have looked like so I can hunt for them.
Thanks,
Terry
