flat front tire, for once an easy fix

Got flat front tire Saturday when mowing. Front tires about a year old. I tried refilling the tire, and it was leaking big time right out the valve stem. Got a valve stem core tool and some cores, total $4. Maybe the old one was loose or crap. Tightened up the other one too, it wasn't in real tight.

I got some new fronts a few years ago, scared of one of them blowing out on me. The tire place where I got them asked me if I wanted them "loaded",which meant filled with non-leak stuff. Since it was only about $5.00 per tire, and the price of both, mounted was about $90.00,I figured, what the heck. I watched as the tire guy filled them with what looked like a gallon per tire from a 55 gallon drum. I haven't had a flat or a slow leak yet. The tire place is in a small ag-based town near me. lha
