yesterdays job

Yesterdays task was to get the ugly loader off the 8n we brought home a few weekends ago. All went well till came time to get the framework off. It was such a gobble together loader and all that was holding the front onto the bracket was 1 bolt. We couldn't get the framework to clear the axels without taking the front end apart and wasn't going to do that. Plan b..torch it off...but we didn't have a torch. So plan c...use a whole bunch of welding rods and the arc welder...success! Now I see just how ugly it really is...but its got good rears and a rebuilt engine with the hupp...it now sits by the road along side another one waiting for a new home.

If I had rebuilt it I'd keep it. Thought about it cause of the hupp but I could use the money for a new fish house. Got plenty of others that we will keep. I've got to say that jubilee has been the most useful tractor we've ever bought.

Nope selling it as a running machine.
$1800....needs a little cosmetic work!
Figured even thought its not pretty
someone might bite on the cheaper price.
The one next to it I have listed for 2700.
Up here a painted in good shape 8n sells
for 3-3200.

I wouldn't have put that loader by the
road with a free sign it was that bad. It
doesn't look bad in the pics but it was.
Only good thing on it was the spool bank
and rams. And a good Vickers pump that
wasn't hooked up. They had it plummed off
the tractor hydraulics and the return hose
sitting in the tranny fill hole. Fluid was
full of water.
