Painting some 8N "sundries". Yes, I know, not all Ford.
New brand of paint for me. I'll let you know what I think about
it tomorrow after I see how the drying time shakes out, etc.

And, the 'ugly Duckling', gets a re-make, and a nice face-lift.

I sure don't like suspense.Won't sleep tonight
wondering what Brand? Did it spray and cover good?
Used HVLP spray gun? Well, guess we will find out
tomorrow...

Well I sure wouldn't want you to lose sleep over it! LOL
Yes I used an HVLP gun, that's all I use anymore.
It sprayed Ok, albeit slowly/thickly with the recommended
amount of reducer. It covered very well. Impressive even!

The overspray and fumes were so bad I will never buy it again.
I just thought I'd wait until tomorrow to see how the drying goes
so I could make a full report! Can't tell you about that for a few
more hours! LOL

What was your Saturday project? I'm sure we all have them!

Royse, thanks for the report-will sleep better now.
My Sat. project was that I did almost nothing. I did
attempt to stop my fuel sediment bowl from leaking
(on my 2N)- thumb nut tightened but did not stop
leaking--needed removed and cleaned anyway, so took
it off and cork gasket was crumbly as dirt==bowl
actually had very little in it--got it sparkly clean
and have gasket and new screen on the way.

Yep, Fergy centers. Or later Fords maybe. They were on it when
I bought it. I just cleaned them up, primed and painted.

The paint is something new my local Bumper-to-Bumper started
carrying named Auto Body Master. Made in the USA supposedly.
I always pour paint over the front of the label so I can still read
the back. Therefore, I don't have a good picture of the front.
The front is JD green and yellow no matter what color is in the can.
Here's a shot of the lower part of the back though, shows the distributor.

I doubt I will be any more disappointed than I was with Majic
rattle cans that took three days to dry, even with a coat so thin
I could see through it! I did buy a rattle can of this brand too.
Holding a part painted with their rattle can next to the stuff I
painted with an HVLP tonight, I cannot tell a difference in color.
Plus one for them! And the rattle can paint was dry to handle in
an hour or less. Plus two. Now if I could just paint with a rattle can!
