Finishing engine rebuild, had to get "new" crank pulley as original was bent and where seal rides was pitted and worn.
Of course new machined pulley is 2-3 thousands too small on the inside diameter, so I will be honing that out to fit. I am using the one piece seal for pulley.
The question I have is I see a lot of people using hex bolts to attach the pulley to the crank instead of the original one that can take the crank handle. I want to be able to turn over my engine if I need to. Is there a reason I cant use the original one?
Thanks
Corey
