My starter broke in side crank case.

Ya I have an 8N coming in in a few days to split just to get what ever out of it that broke a piece out of the bell housing. You can see the bendex as it sits so will make a cover for it and JB weld it on

Mine did that. I can't remember if it was before I removed the engine or after. Mine lost the snap ring or what ever held the drive on the shaft. All the over parts came out with the drive.
