Backhoe Attachment

Shoot I have a Scout brand back hoe on my 8N. It will dig a hole around 18 foot deep. It has a 500lbs cement block up front just to hold the front down and it handle it just fine

haha a little too expensive for me. He started at 4g when he first listed it...I like to keep em under a grand

That block sits down just low enough a guy can see over it. The fun part is driving it in 4th gear. Every single bump you hit the front wheels come up off the ground about a foot. Take that block off and you can not drive any where because the back hoe lifts the front wheels off the ground

Are you not worried about all that stress placed on the mid section or over the rear trunks. I have heard and actually saw the trunks off of one one 8N cracked just having a sherman hooked up.

The loader/backhoe have a frame work that is bolted to the tractor so the load while heavy has its own frame work to help with not using the tractor as the frame. The Sherman type on the other hand uses the 3 point to mount it so a lot more stress on the tractor
