8N odd problem

Got a call today for man guy who has an 8N. He says he has antifreeze in the carb. He also said it was running just fine the other day then when he went to start it today he found antifreeze in the air cleaner hose. I am thinking that maybe one of the manifold studs has rusted out. Or of course worse the block has a crack but that would not seem right just out of the clear like this. He also says he has a hole in the bell housing right where the starter bendex is and I figure that maybe an old bendex got it there.
So do you think I am on the right track as for the carb and antifreeze
Thanks.

Its coming in from a breach in the block water jacket and running out an intake port or a stud holding the manifold on is letting it by into a intake port, so I say your right.

Ya on this 8N you can look down into a hole about 1.5 inches square and see the bendex. He will be bring me the tractor to have me open it up and make sure there is no junk in the bell housing plus figure out the antifreeze problem

My old grain truck does that. It has a crack on the intake side that swells shut when it warms up. No water anywhere else - I just drive it. Those pieces in the bell housing make me antsy. There are a couple of tractors around here I have never split and I think of that occasionally.
