We host my office coworkers out at our farm each fall for a potluck / corn boil, and were rewarded this year with an absolutely perfect day, weather wise.

The 8N did its normal hay rack ride duty, always enjoyed by the kids.

Our cow and heifer got a lot of attention from the kids, too.

As did the horses!

Fun was had in the hay mow, too. Not in scene: a half dozen kittens – they had had a bit too much attention by this point!

With parent's permission, the any kid who could press the clutch got to drive the 8N around in the hay field a bit (1st gear at idle!). All "JD" talked about the rest of the afternoon was driving the tractor!

Not much left in the garden, but the flowers sure were pretty!

Ed ,that was a super nice gesture on your part to share your place with kids and their parents to enjoy an environment they may not be exposed to everyday.I'm sure the little ones really had a good time and were appreciative.Long ago when I was a child I would have loved an outing like that. Good for you!

Ed, I suspect you're campaigning for the job of farm ambassador to the town folks.

In view of your past performance, I recommend that you be appointed to a lifetime position.

What a great day you've provided for all.

Congrats.
