2n-new life-a long road ahead

I have brought home the 2n that I had posted about back in June. When we stopped for gas, two hours later, we had stuff laying on the trailer deck. The bottom of the tool box had let go. It is so rusty that the head light receptacles have holes in them. The brakes are locked up and so it will be difficult to unload. But it is home. Jack knew that his son would never have the time or money to fix it and so he is okay with me fixing it for his daughter. Can you spell money pit? It will need four rims and tires. If Jack is still alive next year and is able to make the trip to WI., I hope to at least have the engine running. He said that the grill was broken before he started using it. But that there are parts of it laying around somewhere.
I am going to pressure wash it today and try to unload it somewhere safe and out of the way.
I might need a couple of "NEW" best friends.
Thank you
Steve

My first mistake today. I think this is a 39 9n. I need to check the serial number

Don't throw those headlight shells away. Those are CM Hall lights. If you cannot repair them someone else may want to give it a shot.

Like HCooke said don't throw any parts away no matter how bad they look. Some of them are really hard to find. let us know what the serial number is. The very early 9N's or one of the few N's that you can restore and not loose money on. I have 3 849 and it wasn't much better than that when I started on it
